Artichow is a free PHP5 imaging library, using GD as a backend. It was created by one of the founders of Owlient, and is released in the public domain.

Redis is a powerful and modern key-value store, supporting various data types as well as a very large number of commands.

PHPRedis is a free PHP extension written in C, exposing a Redis class to PHP pages. Owlient has taken over the existing project and released it with many fixes and enough documentation and methods to be called “1.0-ready”.
